Thompson Auction Causing Traffic Jam

by George Hiotis on August 14, 2013

There is a big crowd at the Terry Thompson farm on Kopchak Road.  Wednesday morning there was a long line of cars from the farm to U.S. 40 West.  Everything from petting zoo equipment to vintage cars, donkeys and horses are being auctioned off.  The farm is the scene of the release of almost 50 exotic animals two years ago by Thompson who then committed suicide.  Auctioneer Jeff Koehler says he’s charging 25-dollars-per-car admission fee which will be applied to any purchase.
