The Wayne Township Fire Department hosted its 20th Annual Antique and Classic Car, Bike and Truck Show on Sunday.

More than 160 cars filled the Sam Hatfield Stadium in Duncan Falls for the big event. Each participant had to pay $6 to register their car and all the money raised went right back to the fire department.

"The proceeds go to buying new trucks and fire equipment because you always need fire equipment, rescue equipment so this is our fundraiser," said Assistant Chief, Steve Farus.

Guests at the show also ate hot dogs, listened to music from the 50’s and participated in both a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. Many of the cars were given special awards throughout the event.

"We have different categories for like how good they look and then we have a Fireman’s Choice award, and then we have some specialties like the Betz, Williams, and Lutz awards that are special fire people or special persons in the community, " said Farus.

Farus says that he wants to thank all of the loyal visitors and supporters of the fundraiser and he looks forward to seeing them again next year.
