An injury accident in Cambridge, happened around 6:10 Sunday morning, involving a commercial vehicle on US 22, injuring the driver.
According to The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Keith Gross, of Springfield Missouri, was traveling eastbound, when he also lost control on a curve, veering to the right side of the road, causing the vehicle to overturn, finally coming to a rest in a field.
Gross was transported to Southeastern Medical Center for treatment for his non-life threatening injuries. Assisting at the scene included the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office, Antrim Volunteer Fire Department, Old Washington Fire Department and The Ohio Department of Transportation to help control traffic. EPA was also at the scene to assess diesel fuel spill from the vehicle. US 22 was closed for several hours following the accident. The incident remains under investigation.
