Local Man Pleads Guilty In Stabbing

A Chandlersville man charged in connection with a stabbing incident this spring pleads guilty in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.  29-year-old Chad Brill in March pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to one count each of attempted murder, felonious assault, possession of criminal tools and aggravated burglary.  Today in deal with prosecutors Brill plead guilty to everything but the aggravated murder charge which will be dropped at sentencing.  The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says on February 20th deputies were called to 156 Sundale Road in Norwich after multiple calls to 91-1 reporting yelling and screaming.  Officers say they discovered a female who had suffered a cut wound.   Her name was never released but she lived at the Sundale Road residence.
