Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz is releasing new details from the ATV accident that claimed the life of an area girl. Sheriff Lutz says the victim is identified as 11-year-old Celine Wyatt. Lutz says she was riding in the ATV around 5 p.m. Monday in the front yard of her Norfield Road home and rolled the vehicle. Sheriff Lutz says the Coroner issued a preliminary cause of death and it was a fracture at the lower base of Wyatt’s skull. Lutz says Wyatt was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, but the Coroner indicated it probably would not have saved her life based on the injury she suffered. Sheriff Lutz says the incident remains under investigation.
