The Y-City Barbershop Chorus is having their Celebrate Harmony Concert at Secrest Auditorium this Sunday at 3 p.m.

"It’ll be about a two hour show featuring five local quartets; our local Y-City Barbershop Chorus and then we have this featured group from northern Ohio called the Hot Air Buffoons very funny and entertaining," said Assistant Director of the Y-City Chorus, Paul Shannon.

The Y-City Chorus will be performing along with the Hot Air Buffoons and there will also be a quartet of teens from four local high schools. At just 10-years-old, Andy Matzke is the youngest member of the chorus. If you can hold a tune and want to join the singing group, you’re invited to not only come to their concert, but stop by their practices and join in the harmony.

"It would be fun to get some kids my age too," said Matzke. "They can come to our practices which are held at Grace United Methodist Church on Monday’s."

You can get your tickets to the show at Secrest, Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl or from any Y-City Chorus member.
