A Warm Option for Trick or Treating

It finally has started to feel cold outside, so that means it may be chilly come Halloween Night next Thursday.

Thankfully, there is another option for your kids to get plenty of Halloween candy, but be warm while Trick or Treating. From 6 to 7 p.m. on October 31st, head to Colony Square Mall for its annual Trick or Treat night.

"I always hated as a kid, mom would make me wear a coat over my costume,” said Business Development Coordinator of the Mall, Kevin Pinson. “You don’t have to do that here. So you come out and have a safe trick or treat and go home with a bag full of candy."

The event is also a great time to help out those in need. The mall teams up with the United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan counties, for the third annual "Say Boo to Hunger" campaign.

"When we have our annual Trick or Treat night for the kids, we are asking everybody to bring non-perishable food items and donate to Operation Feed."

Pinson notes how the mall’s Trick or Treating is a safer environment than outside with dark skies and traffic. Also you can purchase all your Halloween needs from costumes to decorations and party supplies at Halloween City inside the mall, through the 31st.
