On Saturday, Oct. 26, Buffalo Wild Wings in Zanesville is hosting the annual Buck Icon Foundation’s tailgating party for the OSU football game against Penn State. James Cotton, a former OSU football player who started the foundation, is inviting the community to join him and other former OSU and NFL players to support a good cause.

"We’ll be raffling off two tickets to Ohio State’s last home game which is a very important game, it’s senior appreciation day and it’s a great opportunity for people to come here, eat some great food and hopefully win some tickets to the OSU football game," said Cotton.

Tickets are $10 for 12 tickets. All of the proceeds go to area football teams to help them purchase new equipment and to Cotton’s football camp for special needs and underprivileged kids. Cotton said he started the Buck Icon Foundation because he wanted to give kids with a dream to play football, an opportunity to do so.

"I was once an underprivileged kid. I grew up in the inner city of Cleveland and I got a couple opportunities, a couple breaks. And for me, it was just up to me to give back and share my testimonial with the kids and let them know hey, he had an opportunity. So I hope to give them opportunities just like that."

The event starts around 6 p.m. with the raffle starting at 8 p.m. You can go online to www.BuckIcon.com or search Buck Icon Foundation on Facebook.
