The Maysville School District is dealing with another bomb threat on Thursday….the second in two weeks. School Safety Director Ric Roush says a student alerted school officials to the threat around 3:15 p.m. Roush says the threat is in the same location as last week’s bomb threat – a 2nd story Middle School restroom. Roush says most of the students were gone for the day, but the few remaining students and teachers were evacuated from the building. Roush says the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office drug dog has been brought to the school to investigate. The Newton Township Fire Department is also on the scene. Roush says as a result of this incident all activities scheduled for Thursday evening at the school are cancelled. Roush did says classes will resume as normal on Friday.
