One local business is making the holidays sweeter with their selection of goodies.

On Saturday, Auntie M’s Brownies was on display at the 1st Annual Fraternal Order of Eagles #302 Holiday Bazaar. Owner, Marilyn Crak says she started the business once she retired and had more time on her hands.

"It all started with brownies." said Crak. We made them and people said oh my goodness those are so delicious i’d pay money for those and we decided we wanted something to do on our retirement so we went with the brownies."

Along with brownies, she also sells nut rolls, almond toffee, peppermint bark brownies and a variety of other seasonal treats. The company operates out of her commercial grade kitchen in Guernsey County and is certified by the Ohio Department of Agriculture.

"We don’t have any preservatives in them and I don’t know what it is, but they are just amazing…. homemade home baked everything we use are natural preservatives in them, " said Crak.

For all the health conscious consumers, the ladies are also selling gluten free options as well. They say that this is their 4th holiday bazaar and they enjoyed spending time with the other 50 vendors and local shoppers. A portion of the money raised at Saturday’s event will go towards providing dance scholarships for the Movement on Main Dance Studio.
