A local organization produced a free short film that will premiere at Ohio University Zanesville Friday evening.

The group, Chaos in Rhythm is comprised of writers, actors, photographers, artists and directors who all came together to create the 30 minute film "Consequence of Sound". The short movie took over a year to complete and is now ready for its big debut.

"It’s about a couple who have a music band duo and they are trying to make in the music business and they are struggling. They kind of get distant from each other they basically have to learn how to find their own success," said Producer, Julie Rose.

The cast members and production crew came from cities all over ohio including Cleveland, Columbus, Canton and Coshocton to meet once a week to film the movie. Rose says their dedication was inspiring.

"We cannot repay volunteers for all of the hours of driving, all the hours of standing around waiting for us to get ready to film because we would have to wait until it got dark sometimes, we had to be out late at night in the cold and freezing so we know that there is no other way to repay these people," said Rose.

Rose hopes that some of the participants will gain exposure by being in the film and encourages the community to come out to the showing of "Consequence of Sound" Friday night at 6 p.m. at Elson Hall. The viewing is free to the public.
