Steve Fusner, the Assistant Director at Riesbeck’s in Zanesville, says with the bad weather headed our way, he’s noticed an increase in customers over the past two days

"So far it started yesterday around 3 o’clock in the afternoon and it held on through the evening. And then today, it has picked up very well also," said Fusner.

Fusner says he’s noticed a lot of customers purchasing the usual last minute items for Thanksgiving, but he says there’s been a lot customer’s coming in for shovels, windshield washer fluid and salt.

"I think a lot of people are really scared the first snow so they like to stock up on items and then plus they like to stock up on the salt."

Riesbeck’s is open daily from 6 a.m. until midnight, but will be closed on Thanksgiving.
