A strong storm effected majority of our region this evening with the main damages being caused from gusty winds.

According to the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office there were trees down in a variety of streets in our area including Potts Lanes, North Linden Avenue, Clay Pike and Cutler Laker Road.

The Zanesville Police Department  also reports a tree crashing into a car on Taylor Street on Sunday Evening. Along with these instances there were more reports on the scanner which included branches down in Pleasant Grove.

Power lines were another concern on Sunday. There were reports of lines being down on both South River Road and Dryden Road.

Winds reached 60 mile per hour in Perry and Licking Counties and in Coshocton a storm report said a 75 foot pine tree snapped due to weather.
