It’s a taken a complete team effort for Zanesville to get to week 13. From the players, coaches, parents, and community…everyone has their part in the success of Blue Devil football.
By most standards, the season has already been a success, but Zanesville has one thing on their minds and that is a state championship.
The Devils can get one step closer to that goal Friday night against New Albany. The Eagles are favorites in the division, they won it last year and searching for their third regional championship. They come in as the top overall seed and meet up with Zanesville for the first time ever this friday at Columbus Desales High School, a location they had to change to accomodate both fan bases.
Zanesville is trying to make history, as the only team left in Muskingum County. Head Coach Chad Grandstaff said the support from the entire community has inspired his team.
