Do you have any clothes or toys you’ve been meaning to donate, but just haven’t gotten around to it? Well, the Zanesville Jaycee’s can help you out with that!

The Zanesville Jaycee’s annual C-Day event starts Saturday morning on Z-92 FM radio. If you have gently used toys, clothes, furniture or canned goods that you would like to donate to the needy this holiday season, Jaycee members will swing by your home or business to pick up your donations.

"They can call the FM radio station, Z-92 and ask for us to come pick up those items at their residence or business between the hours of 9 o’clock and noon," explained Zanesville Jaycee board member, David Mortimer. "We’ll dispatch one of our trucks to go there and pick up the items and take them to the Salvation Army."

The Salvation Army will collect the donated items and then pass them out to those who are less fortunate around the holiday’s. Mortimer says the drivers go just about anywhere in Muskingum County and sometimes even venture outside the county.

"People can actually email us at if they want to do that in advance to let us know that they’d like us to come to their residence to pick items up so they don’t have to call in the morning and we can actually take care of it that way."

If you want to participate call in to "Morning Rush with AC Carter" Saturday morning on Z-92 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at 740-450-1025.
