Blue Devils Balancing Rest With Preparation

As any good team and coach knows, it takes an equal amount of time and preparation to be successful, and that doesn’t always mean on the court. The holidays give us a time to step back and re-charge, and the Zanesville Blue Devils are doing just that.

Zanesville took a couple days off for the holiday this week, but they are right back at it this Saturday when they host Hillard Darby at Winland Gymnasium (6:30 p.m. tip-off). The Devils are coming off close victories against Cambridge and Newark last weekend, where senior JT McFarland came up big in both wins, helping Zanesville to a 5-0 start this season.

But besides the wins, Head Coach Scott Aronhalt says consistency is the key for his team. Rest and preparation off the court is also crucial, and the Devils are balancing all of that this week.
