Charges Considered In Meth Lab Bust

by George Hiotis on January 14, 2014

Perry County Sheriff William Barker says a meth lab was busted at a Somerset Apartment Complex.  Barker says his deputies and agents with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force and Somerset Police responded to a report of a meth lab at the Somerset Lane Apartments at 214 North Market Street Monday night at 6:30.  Barker says an active meth lab was found in the bathroom of an apartment. The Sheriff says one wing of the complex was evacuated as a precaution while hazardous items were removed.  Barker says two arrests were made on unrelated charges.  Charges relating to the meth lab will be presented to a Perry County Grand Jury one the investigation is completed.
