A White Cottage man charged in the shooting death of a man in the South Zanesville Burger King last October will go on trial Tuesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. 34-year-old Timothy Daniel has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges including aggravated murder with a gun specification, felonious assault and carrying a concealed weapon in the death of 61-year-old Charles Hooper of Zanesville. Daniel initially told Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark Fleegle that he wanted to represent himself, but has since changed his mind and will have a court appointed attorney. Jury selection is expected to begin Tuesday morning and the trial should start later in the day. Whiz News will have a camera and reporter in the trial and will provide updates all week long.
