The Artist Colony of Zanesville has named their February artist of the month.
Stoey Stout is this month’s artist of the month. Stout, who works full time for Zandex Health Care, is a founding member and director of "Pyrotechnica," and also plays the Native American flute.
"I do like to organize things into a beautiful form," said Stout. "And so I’m doing this with some music where our Pyrotechnica fire and light performance group is gonna be at Gallery G and kind of some exciting things I think going on."
You can see Pyrptechnica perform this Friday, Feb. 7 at Gallery G inside the Masonic Temple in downtown Zanesville.
"The amazing thing with everything down at the artist colony is it’s all free. The show, on the 5th floor of the Masonic lodge is just 15 minutes long, it’s going to be at 6, 6:30, 7 and 7:30, but it’s absolutely free, you should come take a look. It’s amazing entertainment"
If you’d like to hear Stout play the Native American flute, he’ll also be performing this Friday at Studio 202 from 5-8 p.m.
