Cambridge Police Make Arrest Following Traffic Stop

A variety of drugs and a weapon was found following a routine traffic stop.

According to the Cambridge Police Department at approximately 10:21 p.m. on Friday night  officers stopped at vehicle on Highland Avenue.

The K-9 unit was sent to sniff the car and the department found small amounts of  Heroin, Percocet Pills, Cocaine, Marijuana and suspected Morphine.

The driver also admitted to having a knife on him. Three passengers were also in the vehicle and two were taken into custody for questioning.

The narcotics will be tested and charges are under consideration. The investigation is open and ongoing.
