Christ’s Table celebrates Valentine’s Day.
Christ’s Table partnered with Kroger grocery store to make sure that visitor’s felt loved during the holiday.
"We were able to decorate our dining room with big valentine balloons through a partnership with our local Kroger who are a wonder to us everyday, but they wanted Valentine’s Day to be special to those we serve and it was, " said Executive Director, Keely Warden.
The children from the Zanesville Civic League also did their part to help out. The kids decorated goodie bags for guests to take home.
" Some of them were just so cute because you could tell it came from the heart you know. "Look in the mirror and like what you see, don’t let other people bother you. Who you are is a good person, " said Warden.
Each bag was stuffed with chocolate cookies and warm hot cocoa mix for people to enjoy throughout the duration of the winter. Warden would like to thank all the community partners that made it possible. Around 400 guest were served.
