Hundreds came out to the Zanesville District Golf Association’s Golf Show at Eagle Sticks Golf Club on Saturday.

Vendors lined the room selling a variety of golf products including clothing, clubs, balls and shoes. There was also plenty of food and both local and national golf experts for visitors to chat with.

" A lot of manufacturers are here from Titleist and Mizuno and a lot of area golf courses are here. They are giving great deals on merchandise plus they are selling league information and memberships," said Golf Pro, Mike Durant.

a large percentage of money raised at the event will go towards youth golf scholarships that the organization provides to Muskingum County seniors. The scholarships were started as an initiative by the PGA to promote interest in golfing in younger generations. Durant says this year they plan to raise even more money for students.

" We are going to do outstanding. We have a live auction, and a silent auction going on for a lot of the items and it’s going very well it’s early so far and we have a ways to go, " said Durant.

The golf show ran from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the ZDGA would like to thank all of their patrons for coming out.
