The Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency is growing concerned Friday dealing with an ice flow on the Muskingum River.
E-M-A Director Bo Keck says the ice was jammed up earlier Friday at Terrace Shores and broke loose and headed down river.
He says the ice jam tore out docks and trees along the way.
Keck says the ice flow is now jammed up at Kirkbride Marine and backing up to Riverside Airport.
Keck says the hope is the ice jam will break loose and continue down river.
So far no homes have been damaged. But there is concern the mass of ice could take out the Lorena Sternwheeler.
The E-M-A and area fire departments are monitoring the situation.
