The Columbus Zoo’s known for it’s customer relations and now they want to share their secrets with you.
In January, the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce postponed a customer service event with Columbus Zoo Guest Relations Lisa Kristensen. The event has been rescheduled for March.
"She’s going to take a couple of hours. She’s going to talk about their approach to customer service and how they train employees," said Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce President Tom Poorman. "This is really good information."
It’s the Chamber’s goal this year to advance their buy local campaign and they believe customer service is a great business strategy to draw in customers and set local businesses apart.
"Local services need to step up and match their competition," explained Poorman. "Around the nation and really around the world. In terms of service, quality, price, selection, all those things. We want to help them retain more local business and improve their guest relations."
The "Make a Friend in a Minute" program will take place March 7 at 9 a.m. to register visit the Zanesville Chamber of Commerce website. The cost for chamber members is $20 and $40 for non members.
Those that signed up for the event in January must reregister.
