The United Way and Silpada Jewelry Designs are teaming up to celebrate the start of spring with bling.
The 2nd annual "Bling into Spring"is coming up this Thursday at the Zanesville Country Club. Myla Annis has been running her small business of Silpada Designs for the past 11 years and said she wanted to find a way to give back to her community and spread the word about the "handcrafted, fine sterling silver jewelry" line she sells.
"I’ve had loyal customers actually that are staffed at United Way and thought, ‘why not?’ It is my business so I am being able to get that opportunity to give back to the community through my Silpada Designs business and it’s just a great team together to be able to help out the area counties," said Annis, a independent representative.
Annis has vouched to donate the full profit from the event to the United Way’s annual campaign. The open-house-style Bling into Spring event will be held at the Zanesville Country Club this Thursday, March 20 from 4:30 to 7 p.m and anyone is welcome to attend.
"But you’ll have a good time. It is fun to see all of her products laid out and she is such a good sales rep, as you can see, she dressed me and put the things on that made my outfit work so she really is lots of fun to talk to so if you have any questions, she’ll be right there to answer those for you," said Audrey Foster of the United Way of MPM.
If you can’t make it to the event, but would still like to order jewelry, you can visit mysilpada.com/myla.annis or call the United Way at 211.
