Teams are forming for the annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake Fundraiser coming up in April.
Each year the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization of Muskingum, Morgan and Guernsey counties hosts the three day event to raise money for their mentoring programs throughout the year.
"It’s the largest fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters and it helps us raise the money needed to recruit, train, screen, match and support the mentoring relationship," said Executive Director, Mollie Crooks.
This year bowl for kids sake will be held on April 24, 25 and 26 at the new Sunrise Strikes facility. The theme for this year is safari and the fundraiser is open to anyone who wants to help raise money for the organization. Crooks encourages people to have fun with their team.
" We want people to dress in the theme for their team and there will be a prize. We spared no expense, that’s just a joke but we will have a great prize for the winner for the best dressed team," said Crooks.
Organizing a bowl for kids sake team is free and easy. If you are not interested in bowling you can still send in a monetary donation, sponsor a lane, participate in the strike it big raffle or even donate a door prize.
