Identity Released On One Boater in Buckeye Lake Drowning

Ohio Department of Natural Resources Spokesperson Eileen Corson says the name of one the boaters in the Friday afternoon drowning at Buckeye Lake has been released.

The body of the boat owner, Gary W. Cook of Columbus was found on Friday. The search continues for the unidentified missing male body.

On Sunday, the Ohio State Patrol with assistance from a K-9 Unit searched Buckeye Lake until it began to get dark. Licking and Fairfield County Fire Departments also were on the scene.

The investigation will resume on Monday morning at 8 a.m.
