The Ohio Department of Transportation announced plans for the replacement of two bridges in Muskuingum County. Work is set to begin next Monday, March 31 on two bridges on State Route 666.
S.R. 666 will close for the duration of the project at the first bridge, located about three miles north of Zanesville at Bateman Road, and the second bridge, which is located about six miles north of Zanesville at Gilbert Road.
Traffic will be detoured via State Route 60 to State Route 208, back to State Route 83, and reverse.
ODOT’s contractor for this $1.2 million project is Armstrong Steel Erectors. The completion date is set for October 2014.
