Shoppers flocked to Frazeyburg Elementary School on Saturday for their 2nd annual Spring Bazaar.

More than sixty vendors were set up throughout the school selling a large variety of items to visitors. Members of the Parent Teacher Organization hope to use the fundraiser to benefit children that attend the school.

"A shelter we want to put a new shelter in and it’s also a nice fundraiser that we can do that the kids don’t have to go out and sell something. We can actually call the vendor and say hey are you interested and they’ll come in set their stuff up and help us out too, " said PTO President, Lynette Wise.

Organizers say that the event has doubled since its creation last year and they hope to bring in even more funds for the students.

Last year we cleared less than $1,000 so we are hoping to be able to do that or maybe double that. It kind of depends on how the food sales go because PYO is handling the food sales and the tables for the spaces were $20 a piece, " said Frazeysburg Principal, Rebecca Norris.

Near the end of the event there was also a quarter auction to raise money. All the items in the auction were donated by locals.
