WINTER STORM UPDATE

* A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1AM SUNDAY TO 1PM EST MONDAY Knox, Coshocton, and Tuscarawas Counties.*
*WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM SUNDAY TO 1 PM EST MONDAY Fairfield, Licking, Muskingum, Perry, Morgan, Noble, Guernsey Counties*

DISCUSSION:

Sunday we will see snow before 1pm, then snow and sleet after 2pm as winter storm Titan moves in Sunday afternoon. Snow will intensify Sunday afternoon, continue through the evening, and end by Monday afternoon.

Areas along and south of I-70 may experience a mix with sleet and rain at times on Sunday. Winds from the North at 10 mph with gusts up to 20 will add to reduced visibility.

We are forecasting 6-10 inches along and south of I-70. There should be less north of I-70 and amounts of 3-6 inches are possible there. I’m expecting 8 inches for the Zanesville area.
