With Easter just ten days away, The House of Grace Church is having one of the largest Easter egg hunts in the Zanesville area.

The 2nd annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held this Saturday, April 12 at The House of Grace Church on the Maysville Pike. Last year the church gave away 10,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes for local children and this time they decided to doubled the number.

" We have got 20,000 eggs, over 50,000 pieces of candy, you’ve got certificates, over 200 hundred certificates to give out. We have one that we are going to give out to the adults and the value of it is over $450, so we got a lot of great things this year, " said Pastor Dunlap.

During the event there will be fun activities offered to visitors including, food, face painting and games. Pastor Dunlap hopes to bring the community together during a special holiday season.

" Well again we are just reaching out the community, bringing them together, bringing unity to the community, and letting them have a great time and letting the kids know they can have a great time and enjoy. We’ll also even have some rabbits here," said Dunlap.

The event will start at 11 a.m. and run until 2 p.m. The Easter egg hunt starts at 1 p.m, , but Pastor Dunlap encourages the public to get there on time to ensure parking. There will also be a bike give a way for guests.
