Community Easter Celebration

The fourth annual Community Easter Celebration is being hosted at the Secrest Auditorium on Easter Sunday.

Once again members of the Anchor Church have decided to bring the Easter extravaganza to Zanesville. This year’s event is called "Awaken Out of Sleep" and organizers are expecting a large turnout. The public is asked to join them in celebrating the holy holiday.

"Everybody that comes will receive a gift as they leave and for the children there will be some classes going on downstairs and refreshments for them as well, " said Associate Pastor, Nehemiah Gaiters.

During the church service and concert there will be music, food and fun, but the pastor will also discuss serious topics affecting the world today.

"As far as a lot of questioning going on about Russia and a lot of third world countries and their activities at the end times and the fourth blood moon. There’s a lot of talk in the media and news as far as that concerned, " said Gaiters.

Attending is free of cost. Guests should arrive at 8:45 a.m. for breakfast and service will start just around 10 o’clock. There will also be a huge Easter basket give a way for one luck family in attendance.
