Over 100 people are setting out to tell the story Jesus this weekend.

The "Worthy is the Lamb" musical will be showing this weekend at Cornerstone Full Gospel Church in Duncan Falls. Senior Pastor Steve Harrop says both children and adults in the musical have spent months preparing.

"For the past 25 years, we’ve been presenting this program, musical drama, ‘It took a lamb.’ And it starts with the miracles of Jesus and it takes you all the way through the death, the burial and the resurrection of Christ," said Harrop.

All are invited to attend the free musical drama, one Harrop says is intended to make a lasting impression on those attending.

"Some 2,000 years ago Jesus died on the cross but from the third day he rose again. And it’s been said the greatest evidence of the resurrection of Christ is a changed life, and that’s what this musical drama is all about, it changes peoples lives."

"Worthy is the Lamb" will be held at the church on both Good Friday and Easter Sunday at 7 p.m. Harrop encourages people to arrive about an hour prior to show time.
