Students enrolled in the Muskingum Valley New Tech Academy hosted a Community Health Fair at Zanesville High School on Saturday.
More than a dozen local health organizations were on display. Each booth specialized in a different aspect of healthy living. Visitors could get their blood pressure checked, win prizes and much more.
" You can go get a one day free pass to the Muskingum Recreation Center if you take a survey, you can get free pizza that’s always good, if you take a survey for the healthcare center and Northside is doing screenings and bone density checks," said Ashtin Alteir, MVNTA Student.
Students created the fair as a part of their " Healthy Choice Healthy Living" English project. They believe that their instructor is going to give them an "A" for all of their planning and hard work.
" She really likes our project a lot. She was just here but she had to leave, but she thought our project was one of the best that we’ve done, " said Hunter Bronkar, MVNTA Student.
The students would like to thank all of the local health organization for coming out.
