The Superintendent of the Crooksville Schools has suspended a teacher after an incident with a student.
In a letter to the teacher, Russ McGlothlin said he was made aware by the Perry County Sheriff’s Department that it was investigating a situation involving the teacher – 29-year-old Danielle Lusk — and a high school student. McGlothlin said it was reported to him that Lusk admitted to kissing a female student, in school and outside of school. The teacher has been placed on administrative leave with pay.
The Sheriff’s Department said the case remains under investigation, and detectives will be meeting with the County Prosecutor about the issue. One possible charge Lusk could face is "contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile."
