The Annual Zaap Gallery Art Auction is just one day away and organizers are saying it’s an event you don’t want to miss.
More than 80 pieces of local and original donated artwork will be displayed Friday night at the Zaap Gallery. The pieces all range in size and design.
"We have a whole variety of pieces of work. We have prints, we have some yard art, we have some whimsical pieces, sculptures, with more than eighty pieces of work there’s bound to be something for anybody that comes to the auction, " said ZAAP Director, John Taylor Lehman.
There will also be books and art tools up for auction along with special pieces from well know names in the community. This year, Jeff Koehler will be the auctioneer and there will be plenty of food and entertainment for guests.
" Laura Schumann from Muskingum College will be entertaining prior to the auction with an ukulele and guitar and violin so that should be a lot of fun she’s always very entertaining, " said Lehman.
The auction will take place at 625 Main Street starting at 8:30 p.m. right after the Friday artwalk. The event is a fundraiser for the gallery to use towards operating costs and organizers encourage everyone to come out and support the arts.
