Charges in Spangler Drive Murder

Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox says a Columbus man has been indicted on a murder charge in connection with a fatal shooting on Spangler Drive.  The Prosecutor says that 26-year-old Anthony Wilson is charged with one count of aggravated murder with a firearm specificaton and one count of having a weapon while under a disability in connection with the murder of 35-yer-old Isaac Thomas.  The incident happened January 22nd at 468 Spangler Drive.  Prosecutor Haddox says there was also a Zanesville man indicted in connection with the fatal shooting.  Haddox says 34-year-old Chad Morrison of Corwin Avenue in Zanesville is facing one count of complicity to aggravated murder with a firearm specification, two counts of obstructing justice and one count of having a weapon under a disability. Haddox says Morrison is alleged to have helped Wilson in murdering Thomas and provided transportation. Both men have prior convictions.  An arraignment is scheduled for both men on Wednesday in Muskingum County Common Plea Court.
