The world’s longest-running ATV series is making a stop in Nashport this weekend. The Built Ford Tough Briarcliff ATV National will be held at Briarcliff MX on Saturday, and the top riders from the Mountain Dew ATV Motocross National Championship will be taking part.
The top name on the bill is two-time defending champion Chad Wienen, who is the points leader after four stops on the tour. Veteran Josh Upperman–a native of nearby Louisville, Ohio–is another name with a great shot to make the podium.
The event kicks off on June 14 with qualifying for the main event followed by two 15-minute races at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults and just $15 for kids on Saturday. Although professional action wraps up on Saturday, the event continues on Sunday, featuring amateur racing that begins at 9 a.m.
Wienen and Upperman stopped by the WHIZ studios to preview the races with Pat Chiesa.
