If you have a drawer full of old watches, jewelry or coins, now might be the time to start going through them.

The Heritage Trading Post is setting up shop in the Zanesville-Muskingum County Welcome Center this week.  They’re searching for a variety of items and collectibles.

"We’re buying gold and silver, some antiques, collectibles, 90 percent coins, silver dollars, just anything that you have questions about," said Manager Laura Enright. "We buy costume jewelry.  We can look through your jewelry and see if you have gold or silver."

In addition to those pieces, they’re also interested in guitars.  While they hope to purchase several items to bring back to their trading post store in Lancaster, Enright said they’re happy just to chat and take any questions you might have.

"We can look at it, and there’s never any pressure to sell," Enright said. "If you just want to ask a question, we’ll be happy to give you an answer."

The trading post will be at the welcome center from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
