2 Zanesville Men Charged In Wheeling Ave Raid

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says two Zanesville men have been charged in connection with Thursday’s raid at 1620 Wheeling Avenue.  Lutz says 48-year-old David Durant is facing one count of trafficking in drugs, six counts of possession of drugs and two counts of having a weapon while under a disability.
Sheriff Lutz says the second man charged is 35-year-old Ross Gannon.  He faces 3 counts of possession of drugs and one count of having a weapon while under a disability.  Two other individuals were arrested for outstanding warrants. The charges stem from a search that revealed 45-thousand dollars in methamphetamine, 7-thousand dollars in heroin, 28-hundred dollars in cocaine, 23-thosuand dollars in US currency and three handguns.  The investigation included multiple groups: Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, CODE Task Force and the Muskingum County and Zanesville Police Department Joint Drug Task Force.
