Drug Raid on Pallas Avenue

The Joint Drug Unit of the Zanesville Police Department and the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug raid at a home on the east side of town.

It happened around 11:40 Thursday morning at 1329 Pallas Avenue. Police Chief Kenneth Miller said brothers John and Derek Jamison were charged with multiple counts of drug possesion and drug trafficking. They also were charged with multiple counts of having a weapon while under disability.

"Once we were there we were able to see some crack cocaine, some money and two guns," Chief Miller said. "We also arrested two subjects at the residence."

Police provided the county prosecuter’s office with all of the information from the raid. Both men have prior drug convictions and are awaiting their arraignments scheduled for Monday.
