The Highway Patrol today announced the location of Friday night’s sobriety checkpoint. Troopers say it will be held from 9 p.m. until midnight on State Route 13 in Licking County. The checkpoint, funded by federal grants, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. The checkpoint will also be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crash. If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements.
