The Ohio State Highway Patrol said one woman was killed during a traffic accident in Coshocton County.
Sergeant Kelly said that the accident took place on US 36 between Coshocton and Warsaw around 5:10p.m. Monday.
He said their investigation shows that 46-year-old Tammy Steed, of Warsaw, was driving east on US 36 when she lost control of her vehicle, spun around and went left of center into the path of a vehicle driven by 48-year-old Karen Darby also of Warsaw.
The rear of Steed’s vehicle struck the front of Darby’s vehicle.
Coshocton County EMS transported Darby to Genesis Good Samaritan with non life threatening injuries. Steed was pronounced dead at the scene by Coshocton County EMS.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
