John McIntire Library and the Zanesville Museum of Art Partnering

The John McIntire Library and the Zanesville Museum of Art are teaming up in a unique partnership.

For the first time ever you will be able to show your library card at the Zanesville Museum of Art and receive half off admission. Blair Tom, Assistant Director of the Muskingum County Library System says the new partnership is complimentary.

"Well the library is just delighted to be able to partner with the museum. We are focused on read, discover, learn create and certainly, the opportunity to visit our wonderful museum with your library card half price and discover all the creations and wonderful things there. It just compliments the mission of the library and really reinforces our commitment to partnering with the area organizations."

Admission is typically $6 for adults and $4 for seniors. Laine Snyder, Executive Director of the Zanesville Museum of Art says the partnership is in an effort to draw people in to the different Museum programs.

"We’re hoping to see increased attendance. We’re hoping to see so many of diverse group of Zanesville residents or Muskingum County residents come and use our facility and attend some of the wonderful programs that we’ll start offering in October."
