You will see hundreds of motorcycles riding through Zanesville for a good cause this weekend.

The Rushing Wind Biker Church is hosting its 18th Annual Motorcycle for Kids Toy Ride this Saturday. The event will begin at the Colony Square Mall and will end at The Salvation Army. Pastor Michael McGuire said they have a day full of activities planned.

"At 1 O’clock at colony square mall we’re gonna have registration where we will collect $10 per person or a wrapped toy of equal value. Then at 3 O’clock we’re gonna take a ride to the salvation army and that’s where we’re gonna give away some door prizes and a half and half and we’re gonna have a live auction and a free lunch for all the bikers."

The event is held to bring awareness to the underprivileged kids in Muskingum County and help to give them a great Christmas and is open to the public.

"There will be a bike judging from 2-2:30, so we invite the public to come out and participate and see all the motorcycles there. And also, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there too."

The cost for the toy ride is a $10 donation or an unwrapped toy of equal value.
