The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two vehicle fatal accident.
It happened at 8:12 p.m. Tuesday on State Route 83 near Otsego.
Sheriff Timothy Rogers says 18-year-old Clayton Sturtz of Coshocton was headed northbound on State Route 83 when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a vehicle that was headed southbound on 83.
Sturtz was taken to Coshocton Memorial Hospital where he later died.
The driver of the other vehicle, 39-year-old Tanya Stottlemire of Coshocton, was taken to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital with unknown injuries.
Authorities say speed is believed to be a factor in the accident which remains under investigation.
