Terry Dunn has been the Executive Director at the Center for Seniors in Muskingum County for almost 14 years.

On Thursday, Dunn announced his resignation, or retirement as he likes to call it.

"It’s more a retirement than a resignation, but something I think we all look forward to in our lives and I guess I’m just at the point right now that I feel like it’s time to do it."

Dunn said he always knew he wanted a career where he felt he could make a difference in peoples lives, he said his job at the center for seniors fulfilled those dreams. He reminisced about some of his favorite memories at the center.

"The F.O.P. dinners, seeing 1,000 or 1,200 people here in the facility and just being able to help individuals through some tough life situations."

Dunn’s last day isn’t until November 30th. We have reached out to the county commissioners as to what the next step will be in finding a replacement for Dunn. We have yet to receive any comments.
