Final Sustainable Farm Tour of The Season

In 1993 Jay and Annie Warmke bought the 38-acre tract that today makes up Blue Rock Station.

Blue Rock Station is a completely self sustainable farm where vacationers are encouraged to come and learn about sustainable living. Each year hundreds of tourists venture to Blue Rock Station for their sustainable farm tour. The final tour of the year was Saturday, November 29th.

For the months of December, January, and February the Warmkes are practicing a no buy lifestyle. Meaning, they will not buy any consumer products from retailers during those seasons.

They encourage you to take a sustainable farm tour when they begin again in 2015. For more information visit bluerockstation.com.
