Saturday is the annual PAWS Cookie Walk.
It will be held at Trinity United Presbyterian Church from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
"Well you come in and you grab a shopping basket and you walk around we have cookies and goodies, fudge, brownies breads, we also have fury friends treats for the cats and dogs, homemade of course," said Marissa Smith, Muskingum PAWS Vice President.
Thousands of cookies were handmade for the event. You’ll have your choice of sugar, chocolate chip, peanut butter and more. In addition there will be a chinese auction, and new this year is a silent auction.
"We had a lot of citizens and businesses make some great donations to our organization this year for our silent auction," said Smith. "So that’s why i wanted to highlight that, it’s the first time we’ve done it and i’m really excited about it."
All of the proceeds from the annual cookie walk will go to the paws organization, and will be used get more pets spayed and neutered. Again, the cookie walk is tomorrow at Trinity United Presbyterian Church on Military Road from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
