People aren’t the only ones who can get their picture taken with Santa this year, Angel Paws is allowing dogs to visit the jolly man too.
When you attend the Santa Paws event at Wilson’s Garden Center, not only will you walk away with a professionally taken photograph, but you’ll also be helping out a great cause. All proceeds collected from the event will go to the Angel Paws foundation, a non-profit that provides animal assisted activities and therapy for those who need it.
"I have been out here before to get my pictures taken, and i just think it’s the best deal, the best Santa clause they have," said Connie Salsberry a Santa Paws participant. "They’re so good they work with the dogs and their really professional pictures. And i like to give to any of the animal societies that i can to help out."
Salsberry brought her dog Hunter out for their picture with Santa, and while it’s obvious Hunter loves his owner, how did he do with Santa?
"He did well," said Salsberry. "I had to be sorta close, and finally we had to let him get up on the chair and let Santa out of the chair, and then finally I had to go hide so he didn’t see me."
The next two Santa Paws dates at Wilson’s Garden center are December 6th and 7th. For more information on Angel Paws visit AngelParsTherapy.org.
